The Travel Project was founded on the belief that the most compelling hotels are not designed for trend or replication. They are shaped by geography, by authorship, and by people who build with intention. We focus on a small number of properties internationally. Each is selected for its cultural integrity, its relationship to place, and the conviction behind its creation.
The Travel Project is a curated hospitality platform dedicated to hotels defined by the places they belong to. We focus on properties where every detail is rooted in context. The food reflects the region. The materials belong to the climate. The producers are local. The team carries knowledge that cannot be replicated elsewhere. These are hotels built on conviction rather than formula. Hospitality as cultural contribution, not simply commercial operation.
We document each property through long form, founder led cinema that moves beyond the surface. Architecture, sourcing, partnerships, local traditions and authorship are presented within their full regional context. The result is not promotional content. It is a considered cinematic portrait of a hotel and the world it inhabits.

Based between London and the Mediterranean, we work internationally, documenting a limited number of properties each year. Our focus is on hotels shaped by geography, authorship and regional integrity rather than uniform design or formula.
Through long form, founder led cinema, we present each property within its architectural and cultural context. Only the hotels we document become part of The Travel Project collection, forming a carefully considered and directly bookable body of work.
